So being the information hound that I am, I went looking for answers. Unfortunately, most of the post-pregnancy resources just gave me GENERAL information, like do cardio and make sure you strength train. But nobody seemed to address the question of HOW I should progress with my exercise routine, or exactly WHICH exercises I should be doing and WHEN I should do them - nobody seemed to really specialize in an exercise or even a food plan for POST-PREGNANCY WOMEN!
I also realized that the general feeling in our society is that the first year of motherhood is a difficult time, and a period where moms should focus not on themselves but rather they should devote 100% of their attention to getting comfortable in their new role - that is, resign yourself to feeling fat and frumpy until way down the road.
Not me! I was determined to have it all - look good AND be a successful mom in my 1st year of mommyhood! I was NOT going to wait until my baby was 2, 3, 4, or 5 to get my body back.
I was determined to be FREE of unwanted body fat, feel good about the way I looked AND enjoy my little one.
I did it. And so can you.
Don't Get Caught in the New Mom Trap
By now I'm sure you've heard enough unhappy moms complaining about not being able to lose their baby weight.
Whether you're at the grocery store, the coffee shop, the park or a girl's night out (yeah right!), you'll hear frustrated women complaining about those pregnancy pounds they just can't lose. And more often than not, it's those last five or ten pounds that are the real problem.
Most women spend the rest of their lives battling to get their pre-pregnancy body back. Many of them turn to restrictive diets and brutal exercise routines with tons of cardio (all the weight-loss "tricks") to get rid of those UNWANTED pregnancy pounds.

Post-Pregnancy Books Are All About BABY
After making it through my first pregnancy successfully (body changes and all!), I realized that there were a LOT of other pregnant moms out there who were struggling with their changing bodies.
